Our neighborhood has undergone radical changes so come see what’s happening in the studios & on the streets where once upon a time, daring artists settled in “unwanted real estate” on the edge of downtown Houston!

Hardy & Nance studios has over 50 Resident Artists that will be opening their doors for you to peruse their studios and purchase art. Painters, illustrators, photographers, potters, sculptors & more… all under one roof.

In addition to open studios, the Hardy & Nance Artists’ Gallery will feature an exhibition by Sarah Fisher, “It’s All About Separation”. Taking its title from an abbreviated piece of advice Fisher received as a first-time mother, this exhibition presents a multidisciplinary selection of Fisher’s self-portraits ranging from paintings to assemblage, sculpture, video as well as her sculpture DISASSOCIATION I, one of three works in the series that anchored her solo exhibition, You Won’t See It Coming (Museum of East Texas, 2022) and the first in the series that includes DISASSOCIATION V, her first public artwork, on view at The Jung Center of Houston November 2, 2024 through October 2025. https://www.sarahfisherart.com/
